Climate Change and security consequences, Revolution in Military Affairs (RMA), Missile Defense and space issues, as well as questions on arms control, disarmament and international security. |
Background
Christian Alwardt studied physics, economics and
international relations at the University of Hamburg
and received a diploma in physics end of 2007.
The topic of his diploma thesis was the Atom Trap
Trace Analysis of Krypton Isotopes. After finishing
his studies, he was coauthor in a study on “Unmanned
Systems” for the Office of Technology Assessment
at the German Parliament. In June 2008 he started
working as a research associate at the Institute
for Peace Research and Security Policy at the
University of Hamburg. Christian Alwardt is member
of the German Physical Society (DPG), FONAS and
Young Pugwash Germany.
