Background
Afrim Hoti studied Faculty of Law at the Pristine
University and completed his studies in 2001.
In 2002 he obtained M.A at the University of Bologna
and Sarajevo on Human Rights Protection in a internationally
administered territory. He completed three months
research study visit at the University of Abo
Akademi in Finland during January – March
2003.
Hoti worked as Legal Adviser in the Kosovo Office
of the Prime Minister from 2003 - 2005, and later
as Legal Adviser in the different projects of
European Agency for Reconstruction, UNDP, and
finally at the USAID Project as Legal Adviser
at the Special Chamber of the Kosovo Supreme Court.
Since October 2004 he is engaged as Teaching Assistant
at the Department of Political Sciences at the
Pristine University. Afrim Hoti joined IFSH
as a PhD candidate, funded by DAAD, in January
2007.
