Research interest

European conventional arms control, especially CFE Treaty, NATO-Russia cooperation, Confidence- and Security-Building Measures of the OSCE
Background

Ulrich Kühn studied Medieval and Newer History at the Rheinische-Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn where he received his Magister Artium Degree in 2007. From 2007 to 2008 he worked as a Research Assistant at the Waitangi Tribunal Unit/Ministry of Justice, New Zealand. 2008 to 2009 he completed the postgradual Master's Programme "Master of Peace and Security Policy" at the IFSH, Hamburg. From 2008-2010 he worked as a Research Assistant to Prof Michael Staack at the Chair of Political Sciences of the Helmut Schmidt University/University of the Federal Armed Forces Hamburg. Since August 2009 Ulrich is a Ph.D. Candidate at IFSH.

"Future Perspectives for the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty in Consequence to the 2010 NPT Review Conference"; project jointly implemented by IFSH and the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, Berlin.
