Intermediate-term Work Program
Under the heading “Transnationalization of Risks of Violence as a Challenge for European Peace and Security Policy”, the IFSH is taking up two central problems of the changed peace and security policy situation: the increasing importance of transnational risks of violence and the question of the adequacy of the strategies and instruments of international actors for their containment.
Attention is focused here, in particular, on the EU and the OSCE. The question is with which strategies and instruments and in which venues they are trying to contain current and expected transnational risks of violence and to what degree the measures used by them are adequate, effective and efficient.
