Magali Dietrich
Student Research Assistant
Background
Magali studies Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Hamburg.
Additionally, she was working as an assistant at the GIGA German Institute of Global and Area
Studies for the Research Programme „Legitimacy and Efficiency of Political Systems“
and studied Arabic at the Bochum University Institute of Intensive Language Training and the
Higher Language Institute at the University of Damascus.
Since July 2011, Magali is working as a student assistant at the IFSH on their current project
TERAS-INDEX (Terrorism and Radicalization – Indicators for Radicalization and the Impact of
External Factors).
