Curriculum vitae
Kerstin Petretto studied Political Science, International
Law and Cultural Anthropology at Ludwig-Maximilians-University,
Munich. In 2004 she obtained her Master’s degree (Magister
Artium, M.A.). From 2005 to 2008 she worked as Research
Assistant of the Directing Staff of the German Institute
for International and Security Affairs of the Stiftung Wissenschaft
und Politik (SWP), in Berlin. From 2008 to 2010 she was
a guest researcher at SWP, receiving a scholarship by the
Forum Ebenhausen for finishing her PhD thesis “Intertwined
beneath the Surface? Regional Security Complexes encountering
Fragile States“.
