Vita
Vera Eirich has been a research associate in the DFG research unit PROMISE since April 2026. She is pursuing her doctorate within its research project “Infrastructures of Protection. Planning for Catastrophes to Come,” which is based at IFSH and the University of Hamburg. Prior to joining IFSH, she worked in risk management at an IT provider for the Danish banking sector. She has also taught the Master’s module “Organization and Risk” as an external lecturer at the University of Copenhagen.
She holds a Master of Science in Security Risk Management from the University of Copenhagen, including a semester abroad at the University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg.
