Faouzia Zeraoulia from the University of Jijel, Algeria, has joined IFSH as a guest researcher over the summer months. She is an associate professor of political science and an expert on transitional justice and memory politics, peacebuilding and reconciliation. At IFSH, she is working on gender-based violence in the Sudan conflict in the research area on Societal Peace and Internal Security. She is a member of the Arab-German Young Academy (AGYA) and visits IFSH as part of AGYA’s research mobility programme.
