In a time of increasing crisis and war around the world, peace research plays a particularly important role. The aim of the IFSH is to actively contribute to peace and security through research and knowledge transfer. The Institute’s work is supported by the Ministry of Science, Research and Equality of the City of Hamburg. Through special funding, it is enabling the IFSH to embark on a phase of strategic growth.
First, this means that our teams will be significantly strengthened in terms of personnel starting next year. Interested applicants can now apply for six academic positions as well as three positions in service and administration. Additional job openings will be advertised over the course of 2026.
