Vita
Naz Al-Windi is a PhD Fellow at the Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy (IFSH) since May 2026. Her current research is situated at the intersection of critical peace and conflict studies and genocide studies, with a particular focus on decolonial and feminist political theory as well as theories of liberation. Before joining the IFSH as a Non-Resident Fellow, she worked there as a Research Associate in the research area “Societal Peace and Internal Security” from September 2025 to April 2026. Since May 2024, she has been working as Senior Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager at a communications agency. Between January 2021 and April 2024, she worked at the Stiftung Innovation in der Hochschullehre. She studied Political Science in Hamburg and Vienna.
