Argyro Kartsonaki is a senior researcher in the research area European Peace and Security Orders at the IFSH. Before joining the IFSH, she was a Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham. Argyro Kartsonaki holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of Birmingham, UK, an MA in Political Analysis of European Public Policy from the University of Crete, Greece, and a B.A. in International and European Economic and Political Studies from the University of Macedonia, Greece.
Argyro Kartsonaki works on peace processes and peace agreements’ design while she has a particular interest in secessionist conflicts. Her research is interdisciplinary combining international relations and international law.
