Vita

Hannah-Sophie Weber is a Visiting Research Fellow on the International Cybersecurity project at IFSH. Alongside this role, she pursues a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) in International Relations at the University of Oxford. Hannah holds an MPhil in Politics (with Distinction) from the University of Oxford and bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and in Empirical Cultural Studies and European Ethnology from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU). She is currently also working as a Research and Project Officer at the think tank Virtual Routes. Prior positions include roles at the United Nations Office for Digital and Emerging Technologies (UN-ODET) in New York City, the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI), the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP), the German Federal Foreign Office, the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) in Brussels, and the Center for International Peace Operations (ZIF).

Hannah-Sophie's research focuses on economic statecraft and corporate influence in global (cyber)security governance.
