Hamburg-Vigoni Forum
The Hamburg-Vigoni Forum is a research and networking project addressing fundamental questions about the future of Europe. Taking a broad view of the processes of European integration, it aims to discuss the historical, normative and legal foundations of the European peace project. To this end, the Forum organises regular conferences and public events that bring together representatives from academia and politics. The key question is: What holds Europe together, especially at a time of complex crises and substantial disruption? In its search for identity, Europe must also respond to these global challenges and remain or become a key player in the struggle for a multilateral world order. Finding European answers to global questions is therefore also one of the goals of the project, which will run for a period of five years.
The Hamburg-Vigoni Forum is a collaboration between the University of Hamburg, Europa-Kolleg Hamburg, IFSH, and Villa Vigoni – German-Italian Centre for European Dialogue. It is funded by the Excellence Strategy of the University of Hamburg.
